Ward & Company market report for Friday, September 03, 2010

The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed up 128 points to 10,448 on 946 million shares traded. The NYSE Common Index closed up 89 to 7055.

The DJIA was opened higher on mixed public institutional trading. Stock prices traded in a narrow range into the close.

At the close 2356 stocks were up, 651 stocks were down, and 95 stocks were unchanged for the day.

Important big block activity occurred in: Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs.
